I'm supposed to drop a case study today. I have one on Issa Rae coming soon. I also have two new interviews dropping from an executive at MACRO and KICKSTARTER. But before those drop I want to actually check in with you. Because you're the reason I do this.

So today I have two asks. Both quick. Both real.

Ask #1: What Do You Actually Want From Me?

Right now, I send twice a week:

Wednesdays: Case studies breaking down how people and companies are winning in the creator economy.

Saturdays: Personal essays from me on greenlighting yourself, the creative life, and the actual work of building.

I've been doing this for a while and I'm curious. Which one are you actually opening? Which one are you actually reading? Which one is doing something for you?

I want to send you what you want to read. Not what I think you should read.

So hit reply and tell me:

  1. Case studies only (skip the personal essays)

  2. Personal essays only (skip the case studies)

  3. Both. Keep sending twice a week.

  4. Something else. Here's what I actually want: ____

Ask #2: I'm Casting Season 1 of the Podcast

I'm actively lining up guests for the first season of the Greenlight Yourself podcast and I want to hear from you if you fit one of these:

  • A creator who has greenlit yourself. You made a show. It's visible online or on another platform. You built it. You did the thing.

  • An executive with greenlight power. You decide what gets made. You've been in the room.

  • A manager or agent who reps creators. You're on the other side of the table helping talent build.

If that's you and you're willing to talk about it, reply to this email with:

  • Your bio

  • Link to your show or work

  • Your IMDb or LinkedIn

You'll join me virtually for a 30 to 45 minute session. Video and audio. Structured like a case study. And we'll get into the real stuff. The moment you greenlit yourself. The failure. The build. The playbook.

I'm looking for creatives and executives who have actually been there and done it.

Reply to this email. That's it. I'm reading every single one.

Thank you for being here. Truly.

Talk Saturday.

P.S. My Kickstarter for my vertical series drops September 14 to make my show. More soon.

Greenlight Yourself is where Hollywood meets the creator economy. Building the future of creator-led entertainment, one send at a time.

The Slate Planner drops soon-ish.

This is the exact tool I use to map every case study, essay, podcast episode, and vertical series inside Greenlight Yourself. It's how you turn one big idea into a repeatable universe of content you can actually ship.

Waitlist is still open. Get on it so you're first to buy when the doors open.
